My new toy. My FitBit.

Published February 16, 2016 by theycallmemrstibbs

Some of you may have heard of a FitBit.
But for those who haven’t heard of them I can give you the information. Christopher and myself have a FitBit one.
Announced on September 17, 2012, the Fitbit One is an update to the Fitbit Ultra that uses a more vivid digital display, has a separate clip and a separate charging cable and wireless sync dongle. The Fitbit One and the Fitbit Zip were the first wireless activity trackers to sync using Bluetooth 4.0 or Bluetooth Smart technology. The wireless syncing is currently available on iOs and Android devices. Fitbit One can record several daily activities, including but not limited to, number of steps taken, distance travelled on foot, number of floors climbed, calories burned, vigorously active minutes, sleep efficiency, delicate movements during sleep, number of wake-ups during sleep, etc.

Needless to say I’m loving it. I can show you some of my stats.

These are my first full week of steps. The American Heart Foundation advise you should do 10,000 a day. You can guess that I was surprised that I actually do that our more on average. Obviously due to my MS I try not to over do it. But sometimes it can’t be helped. So I decided to do 5 days work and 2 days resting.

I can show you my steps from yesterday, 15 February 2016, it was a lot as I had loads to do.

Needless to say I am resting today.

As it said before you can track your hours sleep. This was recommended at 8 hours sleep per night.

This is the gaps fir the amount of sleep I am getting.

The above graphs are the tracking of restful sleep, restlessness and awake.

Another great things is awards you “given” from Fitbit.

As you can tell this is for walking 15,000 steps in a day.

This is for going up over 10 floors/hills.

This one is for taking over the 10,000 steps a day. I have won this 6 times.

This one shows I went over 25 floors/hills I don’t know how.

This was the first one I ever got, I’ve had this 12 times.

I was shocked that is actually walked enough to do a marathon. I’m probably getting close to it again.

I’m finding that my FitBit is motivating me to do more,  sometimes I hurt so much when I do too much. Other days I’m such a warrior as my MS ladies feel like also.

This flower actually grows weken you do a lot. Unfortunately with testing is does “die” a bit. But it doesn’t bother me.

the Fitbit app encourages you when you’ve done more steps than you were aiming for.
