My Bird Table

Published November 12, 2015 by theycallmemrstibbs

That’s right I’ve finally got a grown up thing.
I saw them advertised at my local supermarket Dirk for €9.99. So we couldn’t resist.

Christopher offered to put it together for me. So i sat down with a chai tea latte watching him. Hehe 😂

He’s actually reading the Dutch instructions. Yes DUTCH but it was mainly pictures. Hehe

He put the table surface part together first. Well screwed it onto the upper part of the leg.

A serious concentration face now. As it was a case of putting feet on the leg.

image

From that he put the 2 sections of the leg together to make it taller.

Hard at work there.

Now it’s that ta-da moment it stood up.

image

His next step to add the little birds roof to keep them dry.

image

This was a hard part, making it level as it was all screws with not all the holes.

image

The screws were tightened up a lot.

Christopher is having a wee pose with the table.

I sat there for 3 weeks watching out for birds then we thought about this.

image

Oh crap it’s not got 360 vision around for the birds.

So we moved it.

And the result was A BIRD.

I was like eeeeeeee. My dad, our bird expert, told me it looks like a female chaffinch.
