Yes, that’s right, after having a trip to the Hague last weekend to make sure my directions that I knew were right, I knew I could do it. Some of you might think oh big whoop, but for someone like me with MS it is a big thing. Your brain goes all mushy, as people like me say and your memory goes to pot.
So I thought it was a good idea, however if I got lost I’d never do it again.
Anyway I left home in the morning to go and get the train to the Hague as it only takes 11 minutes to get there.
A few picture of my journey up to the station. I would have taken more but after the first 2 I thought, boring.
So anyway, the train came and due to everyone going work I hadn’t really thought my time through properly. It was jam packed.
I tried taking pictures on the way but couldn’t get many.
These are in the train station at the Hague. Then my little trek started.
This is directly outside the station.
These were some the places which reminded me I’m heading in the right direction, then I turn left at the Burger King across the road.
This takes me to Primark. I even did a little celebratory dance that I got there on my own.
After going for a Primark/Primarni browse I was going to a shop for a pair of trainers for Christopher.
Down this street.
When I got to C&A they didn’t have any of them in his size. So I turned round and decided to go to the shops I’d just passed as I’d never been to Big Bazaar. It was really cool with some pretty little things in it
So I started walking up to the train station and I saw a police car and van pull up to the Subway, of course I thought you’re a bit early for lunch but nooooooo, they were arresting a guy from there. He was hurling abuse out of the back of the car then they just slammed the door on him. A group of us stood there too scared to pass.
After this passed I went across the road to a flea market.
As you can see in the background there was also a protest to do with Israel happening. I didn’t stop and stare. I thought it was rude.
Anyway my legs were feeling horrible and tired, as you’ll notice with a lot of people with MS.
So I went home for R and R.
