On August 20th my mum, dad and myself went to Emmott Arms Laneshawbridge for our jointvwedding anniversaries. Unfortunately Christopher was actually in Japan for a work conference. But oh well.
Anyway, to get back to the point, we went to the Emmott Arms as we are very used to it having live in the same village where it actually is all of my life.
We got that and were very warmly welcomed and asked if we what we wanted to drink, seen as I am on some tablets for my Ms I can’t drink a lot so I asked the barmaid which bitter was good to have in a shandy. She gave me this one.
It tasted really good and was a good choice by the girl who served me.
We got the menus for food and my parents decided that we should have a starter and main course.
For starter me and my dad decided to have black pudding fritters.
Of course it was the best thing ever.
Then for pain course my parent’s both got steak. I got a steak and ale pie.
This was also great.
After we finished I told the owner that I would do a review on TripAdvisor and so a blog post.
All done 😊
Anyway I would recommend anyone to eat there.
Yes that’s right I’m back in Laneshawbridge for a week Aug 15-22, as Christopher had gone to Japan for the week for a conference.
So we got flights near each other so we could go with each other on Saturday morning.
We went off from each other after checking in and dropping his suitcase off. I only took hand luggage as I have clothes at my parent’s house.
So I waited and waited and waited a bit more then for myself a hot chocolate just because I could. Whilst I was waiting I had a tweet conversation with Schiphol.
I flew with KLM.
The airport was scarily empty at 7.15 am and by 7.25 am or boarding time it was really busy.
I boarded and sat there patiently for the people to sit next to me and………
No one came so was relieved so I asked a the air hostess if I could move along to take pictures she said the whole row is yours, so I was like YEEHAA
So because I kept shuffling across the seats to take pictures from the window.
It strangely got clearer the nearer to home I got.
This is how close I was to the front of the plane, so fast escape was able.
I thought as we were getting closer to landing maybe I should pretty my hair up more than pigtails.
I ended up landing early it was meant to be at 8.20am but no we landed at 7.55am so I was waiting at the airport on my own but never mind. It felt good being at Manchester airport as I spent many times at dropping Christopher off to go to conferences and we got engaged there.
More to follow.
Yesterday 10 August 2015, I decided that I was going to paint my nails. It’s not something I do a lot, I think it’s more through not actually having the patience to do it. Even though for everything else I have great patience.
Any way, I painted an under coat of clear varnish and then a very pale blue sparkley one over the top.
It is by Sinful Colors and yes I bought it in Pasadena, Ca.
From this step the next part was fun, picking the colours. I picked fuchsia. Turquoise and navy blue.
With this I used one of my make up sponges to put the colour splodges on my nails.
After this step I was putting little white dots on my nails.
Then added glitter polish to my nails.
It is supposed to look cosmic neither me or Christopher think it does, but we both thought it looked pretty.
