Yes that’s right I’ve crocheted an ewok. I bet you can all imagine how excited I got when I got sent the pattern. I was like Eeeeeeeeee when I saw an email saying wicket ewok pattern.
So of course I went out to buy the wool for the pattern.
When I had it all I started, it was a case of work from the feet up.
I thought they looked really cute.
From there I had to crochet the legs together and start on the body.
She started to get some height which isn’t normally required by ewok’s.
The next step was the make a head, I had to start making her face first of call. Then I moved onto making the around face.
As you can see as I got to this stage it advised to add her eyes.
I then made her ears and added a nose and mouth.
I then had to add her head to her body.
As you can see I made her arms, only one connected here.
And the picture above is her 2 arm look.
Well she was nearly finished but I was supposed to crochet her a hood. I couldn’t do this so I took suggestions from the pattern to use felt.
Between me and Christopher we thought she needed more. We found a magical circle I had made and we thought she could work it.
She has a shield so now kicks ass as a defending ewok.
