Our beautiful little garden.

Published April 23, 2015 by theycallmemrstibbs

When we moved into our ground floor flat I was just happy we had a garden. Yes it may all be flagged but it’s somewhere we can sit out it.
When we first moved in there were weeds between the flags and that was dealt with by Christopher.

I on the other hand had a destructive bee in my bonnet aimed at the ivy.

I got cutting it with great pleasure

And I keep it trimmed to this length.

We next waited for the weather to warm up slightly and I started planting double daffodils , tulips and mini pansies.

I’ve even bought a calandiva and its not pink. I’m thinking of getting another in pink.

The landlord came around to check we were good and to look at the garden as he knew we’d been busy. He was impressed with the fact that we got the plants he planted blossoming as the last tenants did nothing to the garden.

I even wrapped some wool around the next plant to make it grow better.

As he was finishing here he asked me if knew about the other bit of garden that is ours. Of course my answer was a giddy no.

So we’ll be happy to play around in there.

But I’ve just found out that the other owner want to do something with it which is fine by me. We are happy with what we have.
