Gooooo Lakers!

Published March 17, 2014 by theycallmemrstibbs

You guessed right last weekend we used my valentine’s day gift from Christopher. This was tickets to watch our team The Los Angeles Lakers against The Oklahoma City or OKC Thunder.
The Lakers hadn’t been doing very well. So we weren’t expecting much. What a surprise we got!

I’ll start at the beginning. This time we decided to use the train instead of driving there just save a bit of money. The train was quicker than we thought it would be. We were expecting it to take a couple of hours as we went through several train stations to get there.

These were the statutes outside.

Kareem Abdul Jabaar

Magic Johnson

When we got there there was plenty of queues waiting to get.
Luckily the queues were for free things.

A sports towel.

A Los Lakers T-shirt for Spanish appreciation night.

And a photo of us superimposed on to Kobe Bryant.
That is one of the great things about live sports, the amount of free stuff you can get.

Eventually we got in & ate some junk food then went to find our seats. Yes we were high up, but it’s well worth it.

Below us.

Obviously there was also opposite us but that might be boring.

Us in our free T-shirt.

The Lakers girl, their dancers.

The half time show.

The game took over me so there were limited photos sorry.

But they won & streamers to celebrate. So over all a great night.
