Oh sun… Where are you??

Published February 25, 2014 by theycallmemrstibbs

We woke up one day last week and as I was turning the kettle on to make tea I noticed very low cloud.

My first thought was “Hey come on we’re in Southern California where’s the sun??”

So after getting organised with a shower, tea and clothes I decided to go on a walk as I could get some good pictures.

I know every photo has cars in it but we live in a city and it was only 8:30.

So I decided to go home and do some crocheting to see if the cloud would eventually melt off..

It got to lunch time and I started getting all wrapped up until I looked out and I saw THE SUN WAS OUT!!!!!

I suppose every cloud has a silver lining.

Happy Valentine’s day.

Yes I know its a slushy girly thing, but remember, I am a girl or woman.

We didn’t want to do anything over the top because we both think, what’s the point in telling each other 1 day a year that you love each other.

We got cards for each other.

Oh so wonderfully me with pink.

Then as a shock Christopher got me or us a gift. LAKERS TICKETS. Blog post to follow.
I’m going to be buying him something there.

Obviously I made us a nice dinner of pork chops, mashed potatoes & vegetables. No photos unfortunately we were very hungry.

Sorry it’s not a long post but that’s all we did.

Free Yogurtland!

Published February 11, 2014 by theycallmemrstibbs

I was told via Facebook about free Yogurtland frozen yogurt, so the first thing I did was go & check it out to see if they were hosting the event and they were.

I was just over half way to the front of this line when this picture was taken.
By the time it came for letting us in 6 at a time I was a lot nearer the front than the back.

It was that busy these were the only 2 pictures I was able to take.

We were only allowed 3 ounce cups, but it was free.

I was told that I’m an expert with the way I layered my yogurt, its only from practise.
