With the childish title obviously I am talking about Disneyland, we went there on November 13 2013, the day before Christopher’s birthday.
I know this will mainly be photos but I’m sure you won’t mind.
The good old loyal Pluto.
And Alice looking slightly lost on Wonderland.
As you can probably guess we went to Radiator Springs for a car race ride.
We sneakily took a picture of out ride picture, you may notice my face was blocked out bu hey ho. It was fun.
You may notice the guy on the picture below is pulling the prettiest face ever, taking a picture of the ride taking a picture of him on Space Mountain. I know Christopher looks like he is asleep and I look like I’m blowing a kiss but trust me we aren’t.
The one above is us on the Toy Story ride, it was fun but our scores were worse than last time.
the Tower of Terror above was also really good if you like thrills.
It’s a small world also in Christmas mode.
Below is the Christmas parade, yes I know it was November.
Se we were there together.
We decided again this year that we would try to be kind of American and have a Thanksgiving meal. Even though a man at the supermarket told me “but you British you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving” My main thought to that was ” but who were the pilgrims? Oh yea British settlers” But I didn’t say anything.
We decided just to have a small meal, well small in comparison to some other people s meals. We had turkey, potatoes both mashed and roasted, peas, carrots, swede(rutabaga) and parsnip bake and stuffing (paxo of course).
We were good because we didn’t want any waste so we bought a turkey breast because neither of us eat the dark meat.
It was only small but wow did we get a lot of meat from this.
I know this looks like a lot of food but this is small compared to previous years.
We decided we had that much meat left it would be good for left over pie etc.
So I made it and it tasted good and very filling.
Then finally there is dessert, which of course I made our favourite Pavlova.
I added a rolo as we had run out of fruit.
Of course I am thankful for everything I am given, but I am not thankful for the fact that on the day after black Friday, Christopher had to go away for a job interview and I am left eating turkey all alone.
I know this is only short but I’ll try for longer next time.
